As you are all aware, a trade ship stopped on the islands for the first time in many years, and we found out some very interesting things. They were using these devices that they called 'radio' to speak with people back in their home land. This technology could be of great help to our islands, so I would like to propose that we negotiate a price to purchase some of this equipment. As usual, those in favour say AYE, those against say NAY.

It sounds very good, but we don't know the value that they put on these things. I support the idea of negotiating a price, but we should revisit the decision once the price is known.

We can't keep asking the ship to come back. We could always have a meeting when the ship arrives, but we can't keep them waiting much longer than a few hours.

Yes, we should all meet the ship together, and agree on a fair price. This seems like a fair compromise.

Well if all goes to plan, we can have the discussions with them over a nice game of Wickets!

Yes it will be good to provide some hospitality for our visitors, which will allow us more time to discuss this further, so AYE from me.

Ok, I think I've been convinced now that this is a good idea, so AYE!

Now that the arrangements have all been worked out, I can say AYE.

Then it's agreed, we try to negotiate a reasonable price for this equipment!
